Citrus sunshine kiwi smoothie!

kiwi smoothieLet the fresh smell of citrus and kiwi, wake up your senses this morning!  This is a great pre or post recovery drink after a hard workout.  Why is the kiwi so wonderful you ask?  Well it’s high in Vitamin C & E and has more potassium than a banana.  Potassium helps nerve and muscle function and repair.  Did you know that kiwi’s are fat-free and two of them contain more fiber than a bowl of bran cereal!  check out this link for the 7 best things about kiwi

  • 1 kiwi, peeled
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup, nonfat plain yogurt
  • pinch nutmeg
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
